Australian Equine Livestock Event Centre:
Winner of the Sporting Facilities $10,000,001 - $50,000,000 Award

This project is the biggest construction ever undertaken by Tamworth Regional Council. Its spectacular design has an indoor arena, 40 metres x 80 metres with seating for 4000 people.

The roof trusses are 80 metres long, post tensioned, and the roof sheets are 74-metre single length, rolled on site. There is an attached circular sales ring with seating for 560 people. Under the stadium there are holding yards for 200 horses.

There are six stable blocks housing 478 horses. There is an education/training facility with seating for 44, a veterinary room and meeting room.
