Coffs Harbour Education Campus - Automotive

The construction of the new MBA Award Winning $4.4m Automotive Training Facility at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus provides an enormous boost to TAFE training facilities for the communities of Coffs Harbour and surrounding regions.

The new 1740m² building was built on a greenfield site within the existing grounds of the Coffs Harbour Education Campus.

Excavation of the site was a feature of the construction, with a deep cut and high level core filled loc-a-bloc retaining wall being utilised to retain the existing earth structure.

Extensive use of structural steel and metal cladding both internally and externally gives the building a sharp, modern industrialised look and feel. The sealed concrete and charcoal block work throughout ensures enduring, hard wearing and maintenance free finishes for the life of the building.
