Emmaus Nursing Home

Emmaus 2 with an overall floor area of approximately 4000m² provides an additional 65 beds for low care residents on the existing Emmaus Nursing Home site in Port Macquarie.

This new $9.0m state of the art facility provides a modern living environment, whilst ensuring a homely and comfortable feel for residents.

The architecturally striking addition to the existing Nursing Home is stage two in a three stage forward works program which will ultimately become the home of the aged care in Port Macquarie for the St Agnes Parish.

Residents and staff are offered only the most modern facilities within Emmaus 2. With open plan living and dining areas, comfortably sized common areas, ensuites all every residents room, high level finishes, fixtures, fittings and with the extensive use of natural light throughout it ensures that residents and staff are living and working in the best of aged care environments.

Externally, extensive paving, covered walkways and sitting areas within impressive landscaped gardens ensure residents experience the best of what nature has on offer.

Essential services such as electrical, nurse call, electronic security access, CCTV, mechanical and hydraulic services have all been developed, designed and commissioned in close consultation with user groups to suit the requirements of the Emmaus care team.
