Kitty’s Creek Residential Development

Buildplan were engaged by NSW Department of Commerce as Head Contractor, to design and construct the Kitty’s Creek Residential Development on behalf of Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC).

The project comprises 10 x 5 bedroom group homes accommodating 50 residents.

The site is located on land currently owned by Macquarie Hospital, with the master plan designed to benefit from the site’s natural attributes including Kitty’s Creek and an adjacent tree conservation area.

The group of 10 homes have an approximate floor area of 300m² and have been located and sited in order to maintain privacy between each home, maximise yard, views and take advantage of passive solar heating. Walkways and paths connect all buildings as well as connecting the back yard to the creek board walk and wetland.

In addition, each have their own individual street address while enjoying a north aspect and views back towards the creek.
