The construction of the new Award winning $17m Lismore Integrated Cancer Care Centre reflects the accomplishment of passionate people, ensuring the delivery of better health services to the communities of the Northern Rivers and surrounding regions for many years to come.

National Buildplan Group was appointed as design builder in November 2008 to design and construct the 4 level 4500m² North Coast Cancer Institute (NCCI) Lismore Cancer Care and Haematology Unit within the grounds of the Lismore Base Hospital. The construction was completed in January 2009.

The building has been designed to be sympathetic to the surroundings, whilst the use of high end finishes and the extensive use of natural light through an innovative Atrium in the centre of the building ensure a relaxed non-clinical feeling for both patients and staff alike.
