Tamworth TAFE Block C

Buildplan were engaged by the Department of Services, Technology and Administration to complete an extension of two wings and a refurbishment to Block C of the Tamworth TAFE.

The west wing was a double height space extension with the new welding workshop on the east wing to have a floor above that contained a new lecture room and new fitting machining and Computer Numerical Control room. A new entry and foyer, elevator shaft and lobby were also part of the project’s scope. The TAFE remained fully operational throughout the carrying out of Buildplan’s works.
